newly-promoted premier league side African Sports of Tanga and Mohammed Fakhi who was recruited at the beginning of the season from JKT Ruvu.
Fakhi who has been sidelined in the team because of injuries,
coordinated well with co-defender Makunga, both played a full 90
minutes.
The defence played well despite the two goals which the technical bench attributed to inattentive goalkeeping.
Apart from the two, teenage striker Hijja Ugando, who played for the first time for the Msimbazi Street club, also scored.
Ibrahim Hajib scored a brace in the 14th and 46th minutes, Danny
Lyanga in the 32end minutes and Mussa Hassan ‘Mgosi’ struck in the 38th
minute.
